Welcome to Richard J. Daley College and Arturo Velasquez Institute, the "educational gem" of the Southwest Side of Chicago. We are a public, two-year community college that prides itself on being a melting pot of diversity. We have two campuses where our dedicated faculty teaches nearly 11,000 students annually and where we're proud to call Daley, Arturo Velasquez Institute, and the southwest Chicago community home. After all, many of our students, faculty, and staff are also our neighbors, friends and family.
