Welcome to the new Career Planning and Job Placement Center at Daley College, serving Daley College and Arturo Velasquez Institute students, alumni and the employers who recruit them. The new Career Planning and Job Placement Center is a division of the Career Advising and Transfer Services (C.A.T.S) Center and has much to offer.

The mission of the center is to provide students with the resources they need to implement a strategic job searching plan to fulfill their short and long-term goals. The Career Planning and Job Placement Center hosts and leads weekly workshops for students' professional development which vary in topic as well as biannual job fairs. The center provides personalized services to assist students in career preparation and resources to lead them to the position they have been working toward. We offer students access to local employer job postings and the option to post their resume for employer viewing.

The center offers employers free access to highly qualified candidates. Students at Daley College and Arturo Velasquez Institute are seeking both full and part-time positions in an array of functional areas. Employers can post open positions and search through our online resume book as well as schedule on-campus interviews.
