New Student Orientation

New Student Orientation is an exciting first step to becoming part of the Daley College and Arturo Velasquez Institute community. All incoming students are highly encouraged to attend. Your participation helps ensure your success! This is a fun, valuable opportunity to meet and interact with fellow students. You will also receive important information on how our college and campus works. Our main goal is to provide you with a smooth and helpful transition to college life! We hope to see you there!

During orientation you will have a chance to:

• Meet other students and make new friends
• Meet with faculty and academic advisers to discuss classes and majors
• Complete your course selections and registration
• Learn about academic expectations
• Learn about the College's services and resources
• Familiarize yourself with the campus
