Veterans Educational Benefits
Daley College has been approved by the Illinois State Approval Agency of the Office of the Superintendent of Public Instruction of the State of Illinois. Veterans may use their educational benefits at the College under the Veterans Administration Title 38, United States Code. All veterans wishing to collect their educational benefits should apply directly to the certifying official of the College. Veterans using their benefits are responsible for requesting official high school and college(s) transcripts to be mailed directly to the Admissions/Records Office. The Admissions/Records Office will help students prepare their application for a Certificate of Eligibility from the Veterans' Administration. Veterans can receive benefits under the various veterans' educational programs and, at the same time, other federally-sponsored educational assistance programs with the exception of training paid for under the Government Employees' Training Act. Prohibitions may exist, or be imposed, under educational benefits administered by other agencies.

Illinois Army National Guard
The Illinois Army National Guard program is open to all students. Persons participating in the state program receive free tuition and fees at Daley College in return for service in the National Guard. The only stipulations are that the person must be in the National Guard for one year before receiving the tuition or fee waiver and the person must fulfill a six-year obligation whether they remain in school or not. The drill requirements are one weekend per month and 15 days annual training during the summer. Persons interested in the program may receive more information by writing the Illinois Army National Guard, 234 East Chicago Avenue, Chicago, Illinois, 60611.

Senior Citizen and Public Aid Recipients Tuition Wavier
Senior Citizens (65 years of age or older) will have tuition waived for enrollment of six credit hours or less of college-level courses, if seats are available during late registration; however, no waiver is applicable to senior citizens enrolling for 7 or more credit hours. Note that the $25.00 per semester non-refundable Registration Fee, as well as the Activity Fee and any course lab fees apply to waived and non-waived enrollments. Proof of senior citizen status is a birth certificate, driver's license, or RTA Special Users Pass, and MUST be presented at the time of registration.

Public Aid Recipients
After applying for financial aid on the Free Application for Fin. Aid Stud. Asst. (FAFSA) and being determined to be ineligible for financial aid for any reason, public aid recipients will not be charged for the first five credit hours or less of regular college courses during regular registration. The public aid waiver cannot be used for 6 credit hours or more. Note that the $25.00 per semester non-refundable Registration Fee, the $50 or $100 Activity Fee, and any course lab fees apply for these enrollments.
