Welcome to Richard J. Daley College, the "educational gem" of the Southwest Side of Chicago. We are a public, two-year community college that prides itself on being a melting pot of diversity. We have two campuses where our dedicated faculty teach nearly 11,000 students annually. Richard J. Daley College is one of Chicago's premiere colleges because of the variety of learning opportunities it provides. Students can choose from more than 50 educational programs. Students can earn degrees and certificates that get them jobs immediately. Students can upgrade, retrain and improve current life skills. Students can learn in the classroom, over the Internet and in clinical settings.

We offer a variety of Associate Degrees, Certificate Programs and Career Programs. We also provide GED and ESL programs through our Adult Education Program and courses for all ages, as well as, Short Term Certificate Programs in Continuing Education and Vocational Skill Programs at Arturo Velasquez Institute.
